Rec'ing Crew After-School Program - Rec'ing Crew- May Children in grades Young 5s-5th can join the Rec'ing Crew for exciting activities every day after school. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. No day of registrations.- New participants must register at least 48 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an ePACT health and emergency form on file before you child can attend. - Current Rec'ing Crew participants must register at least 24 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an updated ePACT form on file. - Healthy daily snack provided.- Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools for those attending Centerville City Schools. Belt testing occurs in the Intermediate (Perfect for the Adult Beginner) and Advanced class to allow instructors to evaluate individual abilities, encouraging students to excel to their personal bet. Intermediate/advanced students develop strength with increasingly challenging calisthenics and aerobic Tae Kwon Do moves, balance with focused kicking actions, coordination through sparring drills, speed with striking and kicking exercises, concentration through pattern memorization, and focus with eye-hand and eye-foot target exercises.

At the Washington Township RecPlex, our USA Archery-certified instructor creates a welcoming environment that emphasizes team camaraderie and good sportsmanship. Whether you're shooting just for fun or have a competitive edge. our archery programs offer something for everyone.All equipment -- including bows, arrows, targets, and guards--is provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to take aim at something amazing.Beginner (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. REV+FLOW ®- Spring 26 - REV+FLOW REV+FLOW® by REFIT is a dynamic low-impact, high-intensity workout that emphasizes strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance. The workout is easy on joints and challenges mind and body with unique movements choreographed to uplifting music. Supportive fitness shoes are required. Most of the class is performed standing and ends with a few mat-based floor routines. A thick 5/8" yoga mat is recommended. Light hand weights (2-5 lbs.) are optional.

From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. Countryside Crew Camp - Countryside Crew- Week 1 Extended Care AM Exploring 22 acres of Countryside Park is just one of the adventures our campers will experience. Campers will also investigate the ponds along with our pollinator gardens. Games, STEM, and activities will focus on the weekly theme. Plus, campers will swim twice a week, fish, kayak, use the climbing wall, and test their skills with archery. Note: This camp stays on site and will not be going on field trips. Sunrise Play Camp - Sunrise Play- Week 1 Sunrise Play is for our youngest campers and meets for half a day from 9a-12p. Activities include crafts and games, story time, and songs centered around a weekly theme. These youngsters will get plenty of time in our indoor play space as they start each day in the fun-filled preschool room. A 30-minute swim time will be offered in our recreational pool from 11:30a-12p on Mondays and Thursdays. Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Our safety ratio is 1 counselor to 6 campers. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Counselor In Training (CIT) - Counselor In Training- Gain hands-on experience, insight, decision-making and problem solving skills by assisting with camp activities as a counselor in training during summer camp. Successful candidates must have an interest in youth recreation, working with campers ages 3-9 and participate in all camp activities and field trips. CITs must be willing to commit the required energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude to all aspects of the camp week. Candidates that have successfully completed Trailblazers Extreme Camp will receive a 50% discount off the registration fee for each week they attend as a CIT. Interested candidates should contact Sheila Russell (sheila.russell@washingtontwp.org) and submit a 500-word essay with their name, age and why they want to be a CIT. PRIORITY ADMISSIONDeadline to submit essay has been extended for priority admission. Please submit essay by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 20. Sunrise Play Camp - Sunrise Play- Week 1 Sunrise Play is for our youngest campers and meets for half a day from 9a-12p. Activities include crafts and games, story time, and songs centered around a weekly theme. These youngsters will get plenty of time in our indoor play space as they start each day in the fun-filled preschool room. A 30-minute swim time will be offered in our recreational pool from 11:30a-12p on Mondays and Thursdays. Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Our safety ratio is 1 counselor to 6 campers. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Counselor In Training (CIT) - Counselor In Training- Gain hands-on experience, insight, decision-making and problem solving skills by assisting with camp activities as a counselor in training during summer camp. Successful candidates must have an interest in youth recreation, working with campers ages 3-9 and participate in all camp activities and field trips. CITs must be willing to commit the required energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude to all aspects of the camp week. Candidates that have successfully completed Trailblazers Extreme Camp will receive a 50% discount off the registration fee for each week they attend as a CIT. Interested candidates should contact Sheila Russell (sheila.russell@washingtontwp.org) and submit a 500-word essay with their name, age and why they want to be a CIT. PRIORITY ADMISSIONDeadline to submit essay has been extended for priority admission. Please submit essay by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 20. Once the essay is reviewed by our staff, an interview will be scheduled with the candidate. If the candidate is selected, registration and payment will be made at that time. Woodland Play Blue Camp - Woodland Play Blue- Week 1 Our middle group of Woodland Play campers will gather into their groups to begin rotating to the various scheduled daily activities. During the week they will have an opportunity to explore the RecPlex and play games, participate in STEAM projects, climb the wall, learn archery, fish, kayak and swim twice a week.This group travels off site for a field trip every Wednesday. This group will have more transitions than Woodland Play Red. Campers in Woodland Play Blue will drop-off and pick-up at the RecPlex WEST. Campers will experience more transitions and independence than Woodland Play Blue. During the week they will explore and challenge themselves as they play games, create STEAM projects, use the climbing wall, play archery tag, fish and kayak in our ponds, and swim and slide at the pool twice a week. This group travels off site for a field trip every Wednesday. Campers in Woodland Play Gold will drop-off and pick-up at the RecPlex WEST.
