This course is a prerequisite for being cast in a Showcase Series production at Town Hall. The curriculum concentrates on monologues and short scenes. Course work includes theatre terminology and the process of going through rehearsal to a performance. Completion of this course is dependent on accruing no more than two absences and receiving a passing grade on the theatre terms quiz.

Students learn various poses and breathing techniques from Steve Chappel, helping achieve better health and general well-being in a gentle way.  Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a Yoga mat.

These classes will continue to advance your hula skills. Learn and perform full dance routines of Polynesian hula dance from the South Pacific islands. Our performances, recitals, and events are a way to give back to the community and spread the Aloha Spirit. Aloha Spirit is a coordination of mind and heart. It brings the person to the self. Living the Aloha Spirit means to emote love, kindness and  joyful feelings. Kids Beginner Hula Dance (Ages 6-12)Fill your mind and heart with the Aloha spirit. You learn the basic steps and full dance routines of Polynesian hula dance from the South Pacific.Adult Beginner Hula Dance (Ages 13+)Fill your mind and heart with the Aloha spirit. You learn the basic steps and full dance routines of Polynesian hula dance from the South Pacific.Intermediate Hula Dance (Ages 13+)After completing the beginners class, challenge yourself to advance your hula skills by diving deeper into the basic steps. Learn hula dances from ancient style hula and modern. Kids Performance Hula Dance (Ages 6-12)Must complete Kids Beginner Hula Dance to register for this class. Please contact instructor Olohana Strong, 937-581-4503, for more information.Adult Performance Hula Dance (Ages 13+)Must complete Adult Beginner Hula Dance to register for this class. Please contact instructor Olohana Strong, 937-581-4503, for more information.Polynesian Warrior Dance (9+)Join us to learn warrior dances of the South Pacific such as the Maori Haka from New Zealand, the Samoan Sasa and more! The Haka was used in the battlefield to prepare warriors mentally and physically for the battle but was also performed when groups came together in peace.Tiki Tots (Ages 3-5)Bring your littles for some hula dance movement and sing along time to our favorite island music! Parent/guardian must remain with toddler the entire class. (Children not taking class must be attended.)
