Deep Water Ages 16+  Deep water running and traveling combined with toning to improve flexibility and increase core strength.  Buoyancy belts create a no impact workout for the joints.  Participants exercise in 6-12 feet of water.  A shallow water entry is offered then class moves to deeper water.  Participants need their own buoyancy (water) belt.

REV+FLOW by REFIT is a dynamic low-impact, high-intensity workout that emphasizes strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance.  The workout is easy on joints and challenges mind and body with unique movements choreographed to uplifting music.  Supportive fitness shoes are required.  Most of the class is performed standing and ends with a few mat-based floor routines.  A thick 5/8" yoga mat is recommended.  Light hand weights (2-5 lbs.) are optional.  No class 12/23-1/1

From the time the school bus picks them up from school to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as, the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. - Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools. This course is a prerequisite for being cast in a Showcase Series production at Town Hall. The curriculum concentrates on monologues and short scenes. Course work includes theatre terminology and the process of going through rehearsal to a performance. Completion of this course is dependent on accruing no more than two absences and receiving a passing grade on the theatre terms quiz. There will be no class the weeks of December 18 and 25.

You and your child will love the challenge of this martial art practice that teaches focus, concentration, muscle development, balance, and gross motor coordination while targeting behavior development, awareness of others, self-confidence and character development.  Students in the Beginner class do not take belt test and a uniform is not required.  Belt testing occurs in the Intermediate (Perfect for the Adult Beginner) and Advanced class to allow instructors to evaluate individual abilities, encouraging students to excel to their personal bet.  Intermediate/advanced students develop strength with increasingly challenging calisthenics and aerobic Tae Kwon Do moves, balance with focused kicking actions, coordination through sparring drills, speed with striking and kicking exercises, concentration through pattern memorization, and focus with eye-hand and eye-foot target exercises.  No class 3/26 and 3/28

Archery is a sport that teaches confidence, how to overcome challenges, responsibility, goal setting, and is a place to find lifelong friendships.  The coaches at Washington Township RecPlex foster an atmosphere of team camaraderie and good sportsmanship. The RecPlex Archery programs are a wonderful opportunity whether an archer just loves to shoot for recreation or is more competitive in nature. Our instructors are USA Archery certified. Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Advanced Archery  Taught by Will Devan Level 4 US Archery Coach. Coach Devan will work with Archers who are ready to work on skills needed in different fields of archery. Archers will learn based on the specific goals for each shooter whether recreational, competitive or club shooting. Participants must meet one of the following requirements: participated in intro archery, intermediate archery, or with instructors’ permission.

Come in Friday nights and practice climbing with our Perfect Descent auto belay system. The new auto belay system will allow the experienced climber to come in and get the needed workout on the RecPlex wall without needing to have a partner to belay them.  To be able to use the auto belay system climbers will need to go through our belay certification process.  No fee for complete passholder.

During the class they will go over tying into the rope, and hot-to take-out slack when belaying and how to safely lower someone.  Also, proper way to wear harness.  You practice for the rest of the class.  Once the skills are completed you will receive a card to belay.  You will be able to belay during open climb or for special events.Auto Belay certification you will be shown proper way to put on harness. attach carabiner, slow climb, and properly tore Auto Belay.  Requirements for Auto Belay, Auto Belay Card, weight 22-265 pounds, ages 4-15 must have a guardian with them 18 years or older, all participants need waiver.

Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Advanced Archery  Taught by Will Devan Level 4 US Archery Coach. Coach Devan will work with Archers who are ready to work on skills needed in different fields of archery. Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Fencing is an exciting combat sport with a history that can be traced back thousands of years. It is a sport that requires not only a strong physical element, but also requires the athlete to have a strong mental game. Called 'Chess at 200 miles an hour', athletes will be trained in the basics of attack and defense, as well as form, strategy, and tactics. Our coach has a history of fencing of over 40 years, coaching experience of over 25, and a successful history of competition locally and nationally.? All equipment is provided for the class, with some dress code requirements for safety.

Fencing is an exciting combat sport with a history that can be traced back thousands of years. It is a sport that requires not only a strong physical element, but also requires the athlete to have a strong mental game. Called 'Chess at 200 miles an hour', athletes will be trained in the basics of attack and defense, as well as form, strategy, and tactics. Our coach has a history of fencing of over 40 years, coaching experience of over 25, and a successful history of competition locally and nationally.? All equipment is provided for the class, with some dress code requirements for safety.

There will be no class the weeks of December 18 and 25.

The RecPlex Archery programs are a wonderful opportunity whether an archer just loves to shoot for recreation or is more competitive in nature. Our instructors are USA Archery certified. Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Advanced Archery  Taught by Will Devan Level 4 US Archery Coach. Coach Devan will work with Archers who are ready to work on skills needed in different fields of archery. Archers will learn based on the specific goals for each shooter whether recreational, competitive or club shooting. Participants must meet one of the following requirements: participated in intro archery, intermediate archery, or with instructors’ permission.

This course is a prerequisite for being cast in a Showcase Series production at Town Hall. The curriculum concentrates on monologues and short scenes. Course work includes theatre terminology and the process of going through rehearsal to a performance. Completion of this course is dependent on accruing no more than two absences and receiving a passing grade on the theatre terms quiz. There will be no class the weeks of December 18 and 25.

The RecPlex Archery programs are a wonderful opportunity whether an archer just loves to shoot for recreation or is more competitive in nature. Our instructors are USA Archery certified. Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. Advanced Archery  Taught by Will Devan Level 4 US Archery Coach. Coach Devan will work with Archers who are ready to work on skills needed in different fields of archery. Archers will learn based on the specific goals for each shooter whether recreational, competitive or club shooting. Participants must meet one of the following requirements: participated in intro archery, intermediate archery, or with instructors’ permission.

These youngsters will get plenty of time in our indoor play space as they start each day in the fun-filled preschool room. A 30-minute swim time will be offered in our recreational pool from 11:30a-12p on Mondays and Thursdays. Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Note: This camp does not offer extended care or go on field trips.

Campers will also enjoy the benefits of the RecPlex and can choose electives such as swimming, fishing, archery, kayaking and climbing wall. Campers will explore all 24 acres of Countryside Park in this new traditional camp. We'll explore Bass Lake, Turtle, Vernal and Herron ponds along with our pollinator gardens. Plus, campers will swim twice a week, fish, kayak, use the climbing wall, and these their skills with archery. Note: This camp stays on site and will not be going on field trips. Extended care IS available for this camp.

This one-of-a-kind experience based on challenges, imagination, creativity, and shared interests takes camp to the EXTREME. Experience ALL the stops and splurging during this the whole week of fun! Pricing and Age range varies. 13 kids, 2 staff and a van. You and your child will love the challenge of this martial art practice that teaches focus, concentration, muscle development, balance, and gross motor coordination while targeting behavior development, awareness of others, self-confidence and character development.  Students in the Beginner class do not take belt test and a uniform is not required.  Belt testing occurs in the Intermediate (Perfect for the Adult Beginner) and Advanced class to allow instructors to evaluate individual abilities, encouraging students to excel to their personal bet.  Intermediate/advanced students develop strength with increasingly challenging calisthenics and aerobic Tae Kwon Do moves, balance with focused kicking actions, coordination through sparring drills, speed with striking and kicking exercises, concentration through pattern memorization, and focus with eye-hand and eye-foot target exercises.  No class 3/26 and 3/28

These youngsters will get plenty of time in our indoor play space as they start each day in the fun-filled preschool room. A 30-minute swim time will be offered in our recreational pool from 11:30a-12p on Mondays and Thursdays. Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Note: This camp does not offer extended care or go on field trips.

Caravan campers will spend all summer on the go with this traveling camp. Head out each day with 2 staff, 13 campers, and van. Campers will also enjoy the benefits of the RecPlex and can choose electives such as swimming, fishing, archery, kayaking and climbing wall. Campers will explore all 24 acres of Countryside Park in this new traditional camp. We'll explore Bass Lake, Turtle, Vernal and Herron ponds along with our pollinator gardens. Plus, campers will swim twice a week, fish, kayak, use the climbing wall, and these their skills with archery. Note: This camp stays on site and will not be going on field trips. This one-of-a-kind experience based on challenges, imagination, creativity, and shared interests takes camp to the EXTREME. Archery is a sport that teaches confidence, how to overcome challenges, responsibility, goal setting, and is a place to find lifelong friendships.  The coaches at Washington Township RecPlex foster an atmosphere of team camaraderie and good sportsmanship. The RecPlex Archery programs are a wonderful opportunity whether an archer just loves to shoot for recreation or is more competitive in nature. Our instructors are USA Archery certified. Bows, arrows, targets and guards provided. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together. REV+FLOW by REFIT is a dynamic low-impact, high-intensity workout that emphasizes strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance.  The workout is easy on joints and challenges mind and body with unique movements choreographed to uplifting music.  Supportive fitness shoes are required.  Most of the class is performed standing and ends with a few mat-based floor routines.  A thick 5/8" yoga mat is recommended.  Light hand weights (2-5 lbs.) are optional.  No class 12/23-1/1

During the class they will go over tying into the rope, and how-to take-out slack when belaying and how to safely lower someone.  Also, proper way to wear harness.  You practice for the rest of the class.  Once the skills are completed you will receive a card to belay.  You will be able to belay during open climb or for special events.Auto Belay certification you will be shown proper way to put on harness. attach carabiner, slow climb, and properly tore Auto Belay.  Requirements for Auto Belay, Auto Belay Card, weight 22-265 pounds, ages 4-15 must have a guardian with them 18 years or older, all participants need waiver.

Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Note: This camp does not offer extended care or go on field trips.

Plus, campers will swim twice a week, fish, kayak, use the climbing wall, and these their skills with archery. Note: This camp stays on site and will not be going on field trips. This one-of-a-kind experience based on challenges, imagination, creativity, and shared interests takes camp to the EXTREME. Experience ALL the stops and splurging during this the whole week of fun! Pricing and Age range varies. 13 kids, 2 staff and a van. This one-of-a-kind experience based on challenges, imagination, creativity, and shared interests takes camp to the EXTREME. These camps will travel to experience NEW things and places surrounding their camp topic, plus get to experience some of the RecPlex amenities. Limited availability. Experience ALL the stops and splurging during this the whole week of fun! Pricing and Age range varies. 13 kids, 2 staff and a van. Our middle group of Woodland Play campers will gather into their groups to begin rotating to the various scheduled daily activities. During the week they will have an opportunity to explore the RecPlex and play games, participate in STEAM projects, climb the wall, learn archery, fish, kayak and swim twice a week.This group travels offsite for a field trip every Wednesday. This group will have more transitions than Woodland Play Red. Campers in Woodland Play Blue will drop-off and pick-up at the RecPlex WEST. Field trip locations are subject to change.

Our oldest group of Woodland Play campers will gather into their groups to begin rotating to the various scheduled daily activities. During the week they will explore and challenge themselves as they play games, create STEAM projects, use the climbing wall, play archery tag, fish and kayak in our ponds, and swim and slide at the pool twice a week. This group travels offsite for a field trip every Wednesday. Campers in Woodland Play Gold will drop-off and pick-up at the RecPlex WEST. Field trip locations are subject to change.

This group will have fewer transitions than Woodland Play Blue. This group travels on Wednesday. Campers in Woodland Play Red will drop-off and pick-up at the RecPlex WEST. REV+FLOW by REFIT is a dynamic low-impact, high-intensity workout that emphasizes strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance.  The workout is easy on joints and challenges mind and body with unique movements choreographed to uplifting music.  Supportive fitness shoes are required.  Most of the class is performed standing and ends with a few mat-based floor routines.  A thick 5/8" yoga mat is recommended.  Light hand weights (2-5 lbs.) are optional.  No class 12/23-1/1

This shallow water low-impact, high intensity, cardiovascular, strength, core, flexibility, and toning.  Great for beginners but challenging.
 
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Sunrise Play - Sunrise Play- Week 2
Sunrise Play is for our youngest campers and meets for half a day from 9a-12p. Activities include crafts and games, story time, and songs centered around a theme. These youngsters will get plenty of time in our indoor play space as they start each day in the fun-filled preschool room. A 30-minute swim time will be offered in our recreational pool from 11:30a-12p on Mondays and Thursdays. Children should wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a towel. Please pick-up your child at the pool on these days. Children must be fully potty trained to attend camp. Note: This camp does not offer extended care or go on field trips.

Fun, excitement, and challenges are on the agenda for Backwoods and Beyond Campers. They will spend time exploring the RecPlex AND traveling off-site twice in one week! Activities include fishing and kayaking in the pond, scaling the rock-wall, splashing in the pool, playing in the park, and much more! Get ready for an action-packed week as Backwoods Campers spend time exploring the RecPlex AND traveling off-site! Caravan campers will spend all summer on the go with this traveling camp. Head out each day with 2 staff, 13 campers, and van. Campers will explore, learn, and discover new adventures while taking on a new destination every day. These campers will also enjoy more freedom and independence. Campers will also enjoy the benefits of the RecPlex and can choose electives such as swimming, fishing, archery, kayaking and climbing wall. All campers will participate in group games, STEM projects and Fun Friday. Campers will drop-off and pick-up in RecPlex West Lobby, right side. Field trip locations are subject to change.

Campers will explore all 24 acres of Countryside Park in this new traditional camp. We'll explore Bass Lake, Turtle, Vernal and Herron ponds along with our pollinator gardens. Intro to Archery (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together.
