Rec'ing Crew After-School Program - Rec'ing Crew- March Children in grades Young 5s-5th can join the Rec'ing Crew for exciting activities every day after school. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. No day of registrations.- New participants must register at least 48 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an ePACT health and emergency form on file before you child can attend. - Current Rec'ing Crew participants must register at least 24 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an updated ePACT form on file. - Healthy daily snack provided.- Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools for those attending Centerville City Schools. Students learn how to create characters that can "live" through an entire show, as well as learn how to tackle callbacks. Actors will understand how to research a role and why it is important. Students must have already completed Acting Level 1 or be in 7th or 8th grade to enroll in this course. Completion of this course is dependent on accruing no more than two absences.

Advanced Acting - Advanced Acting This course is an option for older students as a prerequisite to auditioning for a Mainstage production instead of taking Acting 1 and 2 for the 7th and 8th graders. There is no class prerequisite for actors in high school. This class is designed to refine performance skills, enhance character development, and build confidence on stage. Students will take part in exercises that will help them learn to bring characters to life. The class will also include audition preparation, helping students master monologues and how to act while singing. At the end of the course, students will be equipped to take on auditions for both plays and musicals. Completion of this course is dependent on accruing no more than two absences.

From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. Rec'ing Crew After-School Program - Rec'ing Crew- March Children in grades Young 5s-5th can join the Rec'ing Crew for exciting activities every day after school. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. No day of registrations.- New participants must register at least 48 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an ePACT health and emergency form on file before you child can attend. - Current Rec'ing Crew participants must register at least 24 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an updated ePACT form on file. - Healthy daily snack provided.- Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools for those attending Centerville City Schools. Please contact the transportation office at 937-885-7776 and your child's school to coordinate transportation.PLEASE NOTE: Your child does not have to attend a Centerville City School to participate in Rec'ing Crew. Advanced Acting - Advanced Acting This course is an option for older students as a prerequisite to auditioning for a Mainstage production instead of taking Acting 1 and 2 for the 7th and 8th graders. Students will take part in exercises that will help them learn to bring characters to life. The class will also include audition preparation, helping students master monologues and how to act while singing. Rec'ing Crew After-School Program - Rec'ing Crew- March Children in grades Young 5s-5th can join the Rec'ing Crew for exciting activities every day after school. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. No day of registrations.- New participants must register at least 48 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an ePACT health and emergency form on file before you child can attend. - Current Rec'ing Crew participants must register at least 24 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an updated ePACT form on file. - Healthy daily snack provided.- Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools for those attending Centerville City Schools. Advanced Acting - Advanced Acting This course is an option for older students as a prerequisite to auditioning for a Mainstage production instead of taking Acting 1 and 2 for the 7th and 8th graders. Students will take part in exercises that will help them learn to bring characters to life. The class will also include audition preparation, helping students master monologues and how to act while singing. ARC Lifeguarding - Spring 26 - American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course The primary purpose of the course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. It also trains the participants to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services personnel take over. The RecPlex teaches the American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard course which has seven hours of online instruction and twenty hours of in-person instruction. Students must be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the course. Participants must pass the Washington Township Pre-Skills Test in order to take the Lifeguard course. The Pre-Skills Test occurs on the first day of class. Registration includes the $30 fee for the Pre-Skills Test. If the candidate does not pass the Pre-Skills Test, the registration fee will be refunded minus the $30 for the Pre-Skills Test.Participants who successfully pass the final written exam, with a minimum grade of 80%, and the in-water final skills scenarios will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED. Come prepared to each class with a towel, swimsuit, snacks, writing utensil, paper and water bottle.

REV+FLOW ®- Spring 26 - REV+FLOW REV+FLOW® by REFIT is a dynamic low-impact, high-intensity workout that emphasizes strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance. The workout is easy on joints and challenges mind and body with unique movements choreographed to uplifting music. Supportive fitness shoes are required. Most of the class is performed standing and ends with a few mat-based floor routines. A thick 5/8" yoga mat is recommended. Light hand weights (2-5 lbs.) are optional.

Rec'ing Crew After-School Program - Rec'ing Crew- April Children in grades Young 5s-5th can join the Rec'ing Crew for exciting activities every day after school. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. From the time the school bus picks them up from a Centerville City School to when you arrive at pick-up, our program keeps your child safe, happy and engaged in constructive activities every day that Centerville Schools are in session.- Staff are dedicated to enriching your child's experience, acting as mentors, and providing positive role models.- Children will participate in RecPlex amenities, such as the aquatic center, 24 ft. climbing wall, movie theater, playgrounds, 21-acre park, and more!- Time is set aside for homework so you may enjoy more quality time at home.- We are flexible. Sign up to participate daily, weekly, or somewhere in between. But sign up in advance. No day of registrations.- New participants must register at least 48 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an ePACT health and emergency form on file before you child can attend. - Current Rec'ing Crew participants must register at least 24 hours prior to the day they intend to be in Rec'ing Crew and have an updated ePACT form on file. - Healthy daily snack provided.- Daily Transportation is provided by Centerville City Schools for those attending Centerville City Schools. Please contact the transportation office at 937-885-7776 and your child's school to coordinate transportation.PLEASE NOTE: Your child does not have to attend a Centerville City School to participate in Rec'ing Crew. This is a requirement if you are using Centerville School transportation to the RecPlex.

Archery - Spring 26 - Advanced Archery - Fri Aim high with Archery at the RecPlex!Archery is more than just hitting a target---it's a sport that builds confidence, focus, goal-setting skills, and personal responsibility, all while helping participants learn how to overcome challenges. It's also a fantastic way to make lifelong friendships and be a part of a supportive community. At the Washington Township RecPlex, our USA Archery-certified instructor creates a welcoming environment that emphasizes team camaraderie and good sportsmanship. Whether you're shooting just for fun or have a competitive edge. our archery programs offer something for everyone.All equipment -- including bows, arrows, targets, and guards--is provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to take aim at something amazing.Beginner (Ages 7+)An introduction to the art, practice, and skill of shooting with a bow and arrow. This class will teach the safe and correct usage of equipment and develop beginning archery techniques. Bows, arrows, targets and guards will be provided. Intermediate Archery (Ages 7+)For those who have passed the intro phase and want to improve techniques of bow and arrow. This class will continue to improve your shooting. Friends and Family Archery (Ages 7+)This class is recommended for those who have little to no experience with archery and are looking to have a good time learning together.Youth Advanced Archery (Ages 7-13)This class is for the younger advanced archer.Coach Devan will focus on helping archers improve their abilities in different areas of archery.Advanced Archery (Ages 14+)Taught by Will Devan Level 4 US Archery Coach. Coach Devan will work with Archers who are ready to work on skills needed in different fields of archery. Archers will learn based on the specific goals for each shooter whether recreational, competitive or club shooting. Participants must meet one of the following requirements: participated in intro archery, intermediate archery, or with instructors’ permission.

Bunny Brunch - Bunny Brunch Come join us for brunch and meet one of our favorite furry friends, The Bunny! Kids can create a fun craft before everyone is served a delicious brunch of egg casserole, fruit, hashbrowns, sweets as well as juice/milk and plenty of coffee for adults. Then it’s time to visit one-on-one with The Bunny. Every person attending must register and pay. No drop ins.Enjoy our indoor play space with caregiver after the event from 11a-12p. Registration ends on April 1, or until filled. The Bunny will be available for photos, so don’t forget your camera. Staff will assist with photos.The Joyce Young Center, RecPlex West doors open at 9:45 a.m. Brunch is served in the Joyce Young Center Dining Room at 10 a.m.
